Stay Awhile
2025, Natural pigment-dyed paper, stone, Dimensions variable, Installation view from Inter/Seen
Stay Awhile reveals traces left by a stone that blocked the flow of water. The areas where water could not reach remain as white marks, which I think of as the “shadow” of the stone. This mark is a margin left outside the circulation — excluded from the flow, yet still clearly marking its presence. The work reflects on things that were once unseen but undeniably existed, and on what remains after something briefly stayed and interrupted the flow.
